Eric Metcalf leads construction operations at CI Renew, leveraging more than 15 years of construction management expertise to build high-performance solar infrastructure that integrates seamlessly into existing environments.
With over $900 million in projects under his belt, Eric is a builder who understands the full development lifecycle—from site logistics and permitting to mechanical execution and post-construction performance. Responsible for the construction and delivery of CI Renew's solar projects, from site selection through construction completion, his expertise extends to pre-construction, engineering, and permitting phases.
Eric's career spans more than 75 megawatts in development, including a 19-site Howard County solar portfolio, one of the region's most extensive and technically varied renewable energy deployments. From high-rise buildings to commercial solar installations with budgets ranging from $19 million to $500 million, the diversity of Eric's experience has honed his technical knowledge and ability to manage large-scale, multifaceted projects in various settings.
As CI Renew continues to expand its solar energy portfolio, Eric's leadership in construction management is instrumental in delivering projects on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Eric holds a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Bucknell University and a Master's in project management from the University of Maryland.
