Walter brings over 20 years of renewable energy and construction leadership to CI Renew, where he serves as Managing Partner and head of project development.
Over his career, Walter has managed more than $700 million in renewable energy assets, consistently navigating complex regulatory landscapes and stakeholder environments with efficiency and expertise. His portfolio includes more than 30 completed solar projects and 150 megawatts of distributed generation under development across Maryland, New Jersey, and Virginia.
Known for his ability to turn complex ideas into shovel-ready solutions, Walter anchors CI's development practice in tactical excellence. His experience spans every aspect of project development, from entitlements and compliance to technical implementation, legal considerations, and financial structuring.
He has led the deployment of carport, rooftop, and ground-mount solar arrays for clients including the Howard County Government, Ardagh Glass Packaging, CentraState Medical Center and Six Flags—executing large-scale projects without operational disruption and under tight regulatory constraints. This diverse portfolio demonstrates Walter's versatility in adapting solar solutions to meet customer objectives in complex regulatory, operations and infrastructure environments.
Walter continues to drive CI Renews' growth strategy, leveraging his extensive experience to optimize project delivery. His commitment to sustainability and operational excellence ensures that every project meets the highest compliance, performance, and long-term value standards.
Walter joined CI Renew after 15 years at Whiting-Turner, where he refined his skills in construction management and sustainable development. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Villanova University and maintains multiple advanced certifications, including LEED AP, CMIT, OSHA 30, and a Healthcare Construction Certificate.
