The project achieved commercial operations in April 2012. It is fully financed by KDC Solar ACF LLC with Atlantic Coast Freezers, LLC purchasing the kilowatt hour output of the facility through a Power Purchase Agreement. The land that the facility is built on is owned by J&J Real Estate Assoc, LLC and KDC Solar ACF LLC has a lease agreement with the owner.
